Scientific mediation hub

The Scientific Mediation Unit develops and coordinates the CHJ's scientific mediation policy, which it is responsible for implementing. Its mission is to promote the laboratory's research beyond the academic sphere.

By establishing interactions with our social environment, the mediation unit promotes knowledge of the history of justice among the general public. More generally, it seeks to highlight the relevance of research conducted in the humanities and social sciences, and more particularly in legal history, to the challenges facing our modern societies.
